Newest makeup collaborations in 2019

If you are a makeup and beauty junky, obsessed with new makeup products and collaborations, 2019 already has something to offer.

At the end of the last year and at the beginning of this year, many brands posted a teaser on their Instagram and Facebook profiles. While the crowd patiently awaits the launch date, for the brands themselves it appears to be a very good marketing trick.

Numbers show that the sales of the products that were previously announced and promoted had an enormous sale, long waiting lists and were sold out a matter of minutes.

Some celebrities, fashion brands, and makeup brands have already announced their upcoming collaborations that are expected to be huge. So, here are the most 4 anticipated collaborations for the beginning of 2019.  Watch out and stay tuned!

BECCA x Khloé Kardashian & Malika Haqq

The year of makeup collaboration had a great start for longtime best friends Khloe Kardashian and Malika Haqq. Teaming up with BECCA cosmetics, these two celebrities and friends created a limited collection. Two Blush & Glow Palettes and four pigment-rich lipstick. Plus, Glow letters, a mix of highlighters shaped in the form of the letters X, O, and hearts.

The colors of this collection are formulated specifically according to each ones’ skin tone. This means they are suitable for both fair and dark skin. Since January 17, the product can be found on the shelves of the most famous makeup retailers.

Maybelline x Puma

Earlier this week Maybelline announced their newest collaboration with the sports brand Puma. What is known so far, is that the collaboration will comprise of :

  • 12 pieces –
  • 1 Highlighter,
  • 5 Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks,
  • 4 Eye Duo Sticks,
  • 1 dual-sided cream blush and Nightlight stick
  • 1 Puma Smudge Proof Mascara.

The collection is expected to drop this week on the Maybelline’s website.

Bobbi Brown x Ulla Johnson

Another beauty collaboration expected to come out this spring is the collaboration between Ulla Johnson and Bobby Brown. The first look at this collaboration was seen backstage at designers 2019 spring show. Makeup artist Romy Soleimani was using some lab samples of the upcoming products.

It is still unknown how many products this collaboration collection will include. What is known is that there will be two cream highlighters, nude palettes, and tints.
